Herts Wellness Centre’s, Ashleigh O’Connell has won Most Inspiring Business Woman at the Best Business Women Awards 2017 and achieved a finalist place for Best new business October 2017, Hertford based business women, Ashleigh O’Connell from the Herts Wellness Centre has won Most Inspiring Business Woman at the prestigious Best Business Women Awards after being been shortlisted in two categories: Best New Business and Most Inspiring Business Woman. Established in 2015, by multi-award winning entrepreneur Debbie Gilbert, the Best Business Women Awards recognises and rewards female business talent and is now considered to be one of the UKs most prestigious awards for entrepreneurial business women. The Herts Wellness Centre which was set up Ashleigh, a qualified Podiatrist and Chiropodist, in 2015 and offers a full range of holistic treatments provided by highly experienced clinicians. “I was thrilled to find out that I was a finalist in the Best Business Women Awards and now to find out that I have won the Most Inspiring Business Woman category is truly amazing.” said Ashleigh O’Connell, managing director and owner of the Herts Wellness Centre. “My goal when I started the clinic was to deliver a patient centered experience of excellence, ensuring that our patients are valued and cared for compassionately. For me this award recognize the effort, commitment and dedication that was needed to make the Herts Wellness Centre the place it is today.” Applications for the Best Business Women Awards has doubled since 2015 with some 500 entries from all over the UK received this year. Each of the 17 categories has a judging panel made up industry and business experts. The finalists were announced last Thursday at the glittering Best Business Women Awards gala dinner at Tewin Bury Farm, Welwyn, Hertfordshire. “Many educated and talented women are finding that the corporate world no longer works for them and are creating their own pathway to a successful career and this needs to be celebrated and rewarded.” said Debbie Gilbert, Founder of the Best Business Women Awards. “Ashleigh O’Connell is an excellent candidate for Most Inspiring Business Woman and I’m delighted that she has won” concluded Gilbert.
