Medical Pedicures

Medical pedicures vs traditional cosmetic pedicures

Firstly you need to ask yourself one question - What is you standard of hygiene?

If you answered or thought very high then a medical pedicure is for you because at Herts Wellness you have the peace of mind that all equipment goes through autoclave sterilization preventing the spread of germs, fungus and diseases. You can be re-assured all the equipment and instruments used on your feet have not been used on someone else.

How much time do you have to spar juggling a busy life style?

If you answered or thought "Not a lot of time for myself" then do you really have the time to go visit your podiatrist and then book to have your nails painted? Two separate appointment's and locations, our solution is simple and cost effective..... have your complete foot treatment carried out within one appointment slot at a time of your convenience with a qualified Podiatrist and Chiropodist.

Some points for you to consider

While a traditional cosmetic pedicure focuses on making your toenails look as good as possible, and gets rid of some dead skin, it ignores real problems and at times may create them if sterile equipment is not used.

Unlike nail salons, Ashleigh is a state registered HCPC Podiatrist and Chiropodist with years of experience and trained to examine and treat your foot and nail disorders using sterile equipment and a range of products to match your individual skin type, with the strictest hygiene protocols in place at all times all performed in the privacy of your own home.
